The DVR's listed in
this yellow section have two USB ports on the front and four audio
inputs on the back of the DVR. One of the USB ports is the square
type like you see on printers, the other is the flat type like you
see on computers these days. These DVR's with the two USB ports on
the front and audio on the back were first released roughly in the
year 2006.

Down load these files to your computer. Un-zip them onto a USB
thumb drive. Put the UBS thumb drive in the DVR, press the menu
button on the DVR, put in your password, press enter button, arrow
down to backup and press enter, select USB option and press enter,
the DVR will find the firmware. Follow the instructions on the
bottom of the screen.
